In my 32 years at the bedside, I have witnessed one consistent theme that spans my career in patient care. We truly don’t have a “Healthcare System”—we have a “Sick-Care System. “ Most resources are spent reacting to disease after it has already taken hold, leaving patients and families in the dark with complex diagnoses but no simple, in-depth education to manage them.

I founded Real Nurse Advocate™ Healthcare Education LLC to bring Prevention Education to the forefront. My mission is to take my 32 years of “Nurse-to-Patient” teaching and put it directly into your hands so that you can control your own healthcare. I focus on Evidenced-Informed Education and Prevention with scientific backing by research conducted by reputable agencies and cite them intext for you to “Trust but Verify.” I break down scary “medical-ese” language into a 5th-grade reading level so that you can understand what really is going on. They say knowledge is power, but in health, knowledge is protection. It is far better to guard your health today than to try and recapture it after it has already been taken away.
